Two authors same name

There are two listings for Stephanie Fisher

The problem is the one who has an account on GR is listed as "Stephanie
Fisher" with two spaces and unless you know that all her entries go to the one with one space. Who and how to fix that?

Why books end up on wrong author profiles:
When books are automatically imported to Goodreads, the books are always assigned the author profile with a single blank space between the given name(s) and the last name.

The book on the claimed profile:
If you open up this book in edit mode, you can see it has two blank spaces between the author's names. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3... The two blank spaces is what places the book on the claimed author profile in your example.

So if you want to move a book from the unclaimed profile to the claimed one, you edit the author name visible in the book record to have the matching number of blank spaces.

Who can fix this:
If you're a Goodreads librarian you can do this type of book edit. To change which profile is default for a specific author name when a claimed author profile is involved, only staff can do.
