Elizabeth Gray was Aloysius Starkweather’s granddaughter who was maliciously switched by faeries with a mundane child. His fake granddaughter died when she went through the rune ceremony for Shadowhunters at age eleven. Tessa is his great granddaughter, which he suspected when he first met her because she looks like his daughter-in-law.

Richard Gray was an Eiodolon demon who disguised himself as a mundane.
