I will always love Dusty so I'm very proud to win the gold. Pity there weren't more nominations - I thought she would have been one of those artists who transcended all the genres and that most exiles would have been familiar with a lot of her work.

Ditto Val. I could’ve made a list of lots of the Dusty tracks but perhaps she’s just not on everybody’s radar. It must’ve been so vibrant in the 60’s the bouffants, clothes and make-up were so very feminine. She was definitely a one-off and ‘Goin’ Back’ is such a poignant song.
