>Bridget Jones’s Diary meets Americanah in this disarmingly honest, boldly political, and truly inclusive novel that will speak to anyone who has gone looking for love and found something very different in its place.
I read this in 2019 for a book published in 2019.
I found it fascinating. And like Bridget Jones about young women in London sabotaging their lives, only Bridget is protected with white privilege. This was so eye opening and heart breaking.
I'm also pretty shocked I'm the first one here reading it.
