In today’s fast paced life, I have come to realize that it is almost next to impossible to have someone by your side all the time, especially in times like when you are expecting a baby. Of course family members do everything they can, and often even go out of their way to take care of any expecting ladies in their family, but no one can fathom the emotions and internal changes that a pregnant lady goes through in this beautiful process of childbirth. We have gynaecologists and doctors in every corner now, and yet, pregnant ladies often fail to express what they feel. With this book, it does not just help you understand the process, but also helps you document your own feelings at each step of the progress. Giving birth to a child is as exhausting as it is beautiful, and a lot times leaves parents clueless and scared. I believe this book can be a great help to those, especially because it will be easily available to you, anytime you need. I applaud the author, who is also a gynaecologist, for taking out time and putting in efforts to explain this process to mothers in an easy and calm language. I especially loved the cover design and title of the book. Being different from most books that I read, I am not sure about how I can rate this book, but based on its readability and understanding, it is a solid 4.5 out of 5. I hope more doctors and gynaecologists and other people from their professional fields can put down their work in words for others to understand the process, especially for those who want to experience these first hand.
