Mr. ____'s change of character

In the book, The Color Purple, towards the end Mr.____, Celie's ex husband, had changed and became a better person. Although he is still a confirmist, he now respects and treats Celie well.

What are your thoughts about him now after finishing the book? Can someone like Mr.____ change within a short amount of time?

I think that Mr.____ did in fact change and he had become a better person. He ound out he couldnt treat people bad and expect them to treat him good

After Celie left Mr.____, I think that he learned that he was a person people didn't wanted to be with and with him alone at the house changed his perspective. In the book it stated that Mr.____ had started to clean after himself and chop the fields with only his self for company.
