its sci fi, has a girl protagonist, it involves a rogue planet pulling earth away from the sun, its a kids book, i think i read it in 2018 its ste in the near future and theres a new ice age and a mysterious alien conciousness ps let me know if you know about it!!!! thank you

You might want to put some details in your title.It's a kids' book? How old is the main character, elementary or junior high age?
It was a while ago, I think the girl was in 6th grade or something like that. Additional details:-there was a dude trying to preserve a small portion of humanity (so as not to go extinct) while planning to leave the rest to die.
-the main character was living with her uncle because her mom was away for work (she did not know when they would see each other again) and her mom was a single mom who had gotten a sperm donation.
-this universe had a special phone-thing that could sync with one other phone-thing (just one though, if there was anybody else you wanted to contact you had to have service) and enable a constant connection without a need for service or Wi-Fi. Main character had one that synced with her mother but her mother wasn't responding to texts or calls.
-Main character had a psychic connection with an alien consciousness, she was trying to use her connection to kill off the being because it was destroying her planet by pulling it away from the sun.
-At the end of the series this elderly doctor-dude sacrificed himself to save humanity by volunteering to fly into the sun and take the alien with him. Said alien was willing to do this because he didn't want to hurt anyone, but had some sort of physical inability not to.
