Martynas Petkevičius | 7 comments Since the rules of the challenge are a bit vague, I was thinking we could use a thread with some specifics we could all agree on.

For instance, do you think Good as gold asks us to read a book from Goodreads Choice Award 2018 or do previous awards count too? The wording makes it seem that any year's awards qualify, but the link takes us to the last ones.

Ana (4nn4) I don't think this challenge needs strict rules. The only person who judges what you read and how much you read should be you. In the end, you read for yourself, not for others. The group is only there so we can share our experiences during the challenge and have a bit more fun doing it. Also, it's there to help each other if possible.

That being said, I would say any year is ok for the Good as gold prompt since it doesn't specifically say 2018.

Stina (stinalyn) | 19 comments I agree with Ana. After all, the TBR shelf link in the post goes to some other person's TBR shelf, not mine, which suggests that the links are merely illustrative in a vague way.

Jessica Haider (jessicahaider) I agree with Ana, as well. The challenge doesn't have strict rules in places. The prompts are open for interpretation. If they wanted the prompts to be more specific they probably would've done so.

The links provided are just to get you pointed in the right direction but there are definitely books that fulfill those prompts that aren't on the linked pages.
