This week was the last week of school! I read ‘Dawn’ and ‘Starlight’ by Erin Hunter, books 3 and 4 in the new prophecy series. I’ve read this series before and love them! And with moving they were one of the few left out so I decided to pick back up on the series when I restarted it last fall. Currently reading book 5 and hoping to do some serious catching up this week!

'The Hookah Girl' by Marguerite Dabaie, a short graphic novel about her life as a Palestinian-American and the politics in the Middle East. I counted it towards the 'Own Voices' topic for PopSugar.
I read it to review for our library's collection, and while I thought it would be interesting for our readers as a diverse title, the physical size of the book is too small and would get quickly lost in our collection.
'Truly Devious' by Maureen Johnson. I really enjoyed this book. It's a YA mystery/thriller, which I had never read before, and I was surprised by how much I got into the story and trying to figure out the mysteries. Unfortunately, the book ends on a cliffhanger, but the good news is the 2nd book came out this year, the bad news is the 3rd book won't be out until January!
I counted this for the 'amateur detective' prompt for PopSugar.
