I could have sworn I already saw your name on the list of people who have completed a second round! Well, best of luck to you!

Chinook | 639 comments I’ve been saving up to post at the end. I’m finished the first round, but I think I have four books left to get the second finished.

I have 4 and a half left to go. We are neck and neck at the finish line!

Sarah (sezziy) | 614 comments I've got four to read for round 2 too! I didn't think I would make it round twice originally but now I'm so close, I'm trying to squeeze every little bit of reading time in that I can

Karissa | 440 comments I was only planning on submitting one round, but I just counted the books I've read since June 1st and I've got more than enough to submit another round. I guess I'll have to see if I can fit them into different tasks.

°~Amy~° (amybooksit) Good Luck Sarah and Karissa!

Raquel (Silver Valkyrie Reads) I told myself I didn't have time for a second round, but I'm starting to really get the urge to go through all the books I read this summer and see how close I could get... I might have to do it now that you all have reinforced this thought. :-)

I'm 5 away from finishing the second round... I have 20 pages left of one book and 50% left of another one, so I'm REALLY hoping I can squeeze the other 3 in... mostly because I had a really ambitious month planned and I'm determined to see it through.

bamaace83 | 47 comments I've been saving up also. It was just easier for me. I'm working on finishing round 2 also. I'm having some trouble finding books for a couple prompts but I'm determined to get at least 2 rounds complete before the end of the month.

Bryony (bryony46) | 1081 comments I can’t believe how quickly summer has gone, only one week of August left!

Now, I know some people are quite excited about the prize draw so I’m going to give some deadlines for the end of the challenge to make sure you’re not kept waiting too long!

Monday 2 September
This is the deadline to post your completed challenges. However many months you’ve completed, please make sure they’re added to the completed challenges thread by the end of the day on Monday 2 September.

Please also check that your name appears on all the completed challenges lists (ie June, July, August and second round) that you think it should. If you think your name is missing from a list please post a message in the completed challenges thread and I’ll look into it and work out what’s happened.

Friday 6 September
This is the deadline to resolve any issues or questions. This includes if you notice your name isn’t on a list of completed challenges and you think it should be, or if there were any questions about how the books you read counted for one of the challenge prompts.

At the end of the day on Friday 6 September the list of completed challenges will be “locked” and that will be used to determine how many draw entries each person has. The draw will take place shortly after this so I’m sorry but it won’t be possible to add any names to the list after this deadline.

Thanks everyone for joining the challenge, I hope you’ve enjoyed it and it’s helped you to find some great summer reading. And, if you’re ready for the next challenge, the Autumn/Fall challenge is now online.

°~Amy~° (amybooksit) 387 pages of reading and I will be done with the second round. Why does 387 pages in 7.5 days suddenly seem like so much??? lol

viemag | 180 comments Somewhere, I thought I read that we needed to post the entire completed challenge somewhere.. I have posted each month in individual posts as I have completed them. Do I now need to also post that I have completed all 3 months? Thanks

No that’s fine, you’re already recorded as having completed June, July and August. :-) You only need to post all three together if you’re completing the whole challenge a second time.

Bryony (bryony46) | 1081 comments 3 months of reading, 12 challenge prompts, 222 completed challenges, but there can only be one winner....

Congratulations to Sara who is the winner of the summer reading challenge prize draw. Sara, you’ve won the chance to choose one prompt for the 2020 reading challenge list. Please look out for a private message soon with more details.

Thank you so much to everyone who joined the challenge. I hope you had fun and read some great books. If you haven’t already then make sure you check out the Autumn / Fall Reading Challenge which started on 1 September.

In case anyone is curious, the winner was chosen using a random number generator. Each completed challenge was assigned a draw number based on the order in the completed challenges thread. There were 222 completed challenges so I used a random number generator to select a number between 1 and 222 and the number 188 was chosen.
