Ok, so the book is about a detective with the superhuman ability to notice patterns and he uses it to track other people with powers who abuse their powers. The only other things i can remember is a girl (who also see patterns) that can disappear into crowds and moves through them with ease without anybody remembering seeing her and a guy who actually crashed the NY stock exchange because he saw the patterns and made 300 billion
