As for the bonus book, I went with The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games, #1) by Suzanne Collins , since it's my favorite from the trilogy (and the entire trilogy is 100% worth reading).

My other recommendation is the oldest on your TBR book, because it was a 5 star read for me: Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer Trilogy, #1) by Robin Hobb

I finished The Pianist The Extraordinary Story of One Man's Survival in Warsaw, 1939–45 by Władysław Szpilman . Very dark, but important history to remember. Glad I read it. I may actually get to all 3 of my books this month!

Here it is July and I'm still reading Assassin's Apprentice (Farseer Trilogy, #1) by Robin Hobb . Liking it so far :0) will finish in July.
