You guys I found the book no joke! It's a book by Jane Washington. I believe charcoal tears or lead heart is the first book but I cant believe I found it!! Like holy crap I spent hours! HOURS! AND DAYS!! looking for this book!!!! Ahhh 😂😂😂

Basic points:
Revolves around one girl and 4 guys who are connected to her and are her protectors ( i know super cheesy and i just pretty much described every romance book out there but stick with me)
She has powers that she isnt aware of.
Her protectors follow her around to obviously protect her
She has a drunk, abusive father and a brother. And a mother that died some time before.
Her family turns out not to be her family but they are people who were sent out to take care of her and they never really did except for her "brother". She doesnt find out that her family is fake until later on the the books.>>>>>
I can give you one of the 4 male characters names. His name is Sal. I believe Salas may be his whole name but i know for a fact "Sal" is used in the book. Another male character name may have started with J but thats all i can give you other than Joah and yes I mean Joah but i dont remember if thats his real name or not
Like i said i had found this on the kindle unlimited between the years 2013-2016. I couldnt give you the dates as to when it was actually published though unfortunately. Thats just when i found them.
Its about a 3-6 book series and none of the books are under 200 pages. I believe i remember kindle telling me some of the read times being about 5-6 hours long per book
I think i have everything pointed out so now im gonna go into the story a bit and try to keep everything in order. This will be FILLED with spoilers
I believe the very first book starts out with her out in her garage. The book mentions about how her shoes are stained with paint and the garage is covered with drawings and art pictures that she created. The garage is disconnected from the house. And she enjoys going out to paint in the early mornings before school. I dont remember if she had a license or not but her and her brother have their mom or drunk dads mini van hidden away that their dad doesnt remember having. They drive that to school pretty much everyday. She uses the tips from her unpleasant job as a bar busser at this night club. She pretty much gets harrassed at this job by all the male patrons because of the "uniform " she wears which is pretty much short shorts and a tight fitting top. I do believe Sal ends up being there most nights shes working just to keep an eye on her but he and her other protectors pretty much just have to let her life take its own course and interfere with it as little as possible because the second she knows them and she knows who she is shes in immediate danger after that. Anywho back on track they end up going to school in that mini van and shes pretty certian that their dad is too drunk to even notice when the van had gone missing in the first place or if he even remembers they have a mini van. Cut to the next scene they arrive at school (shes in high school) and she almost gets hit by someone, i dont quite remember who, in the parking lot and one of her protectors, the one that has the name that starts with J, saves her from being hit. He put himself in the place of a popular kid at school so he could keep an eye on her there. Also there is another one of her protectors there portrayed as her art teacher who she absolutely loves. Like she doesnt love him but she loves him as a teacher. Hes always been kind to her and has listened to her whenever shes had an issue so she trusts him a lot.
Im gonna skip forwards a little bit because i dont remember what happens in between but some how she ended up going on a date with someone she wouldnt have typically gone out with but she wanted to branch out a bit so thats why she was there. The people she was with was some mean popular girls and some popular guys and the dude she went with. One way or another she ended up getting drugged by one of the popular girls who didnt like her and wanted to get pay back. They all ended up getting into a car and started driving away some where and they started taking some really bad pictures of her to spread around school. This is when she discovers her first power. In her confused and scared state she ends up blowing up the car with some sort of electrical power and she ends up being the only one surviving the crash. I do believe she ends up getting kiddnapped later in the first book as well as someone found out she used her powers and now shes a threat and thats where the boys step in.
