Komal Yadav (komalyadav) | 9 comments Here is an Interview of Jitender Kumar, Author of Love Tennis

1. Tell us about yourself.
Answer:- I was born & brought up in a low middle class family of Delhi with values from Bihar. My parents always wanted me to be a teacher but I was not a bright student. I am a graduate in pol. Sc. from Shivaji College (Delhi University). I was always attracted to new things and ideas since childhood. I like talking and listening to people and try to find out their stories. I love motivating people towards life. I sing and I love to write. I dance and in short, I love to live this life.

2. If not being an author, what was your dream in life?
Answer:- Ever since I have known tennis, I wanted to be a professional tennis player, but that couldn’t happen. Still whenever I get a chance I don’t miss playing or say, loving tennis. Other than tennis, I wanted to be the Prime Minister of India.
Does that make you laugh?
Well it may, but it is true. It’s still my dream to become PM of the world’s largest democracy India.

3. I am assuming Tennis is your favourite sport, since it’s the name of your book, which sport do you like other than Tennis?
Answer – Just like majority of Indian men, I too like to play cricket. And similarly I like to bat more than bowl. It was also one of the reasons why I fell for lawn tennis. There, whichever side you are you only have to play like you are batting. There is no fielding bowling. Isn’t that interesting?

4. Any message you would like to give to your readers?
Answer- To those who have already read Love “Tennis”, I just want to say “thank you, I hope you liked it and if you did then please pass my amazon link to a friend or two ;) “. While there are thousands of books available in same genre they chose love- tennis. Those who might read it after reading my interview, I want to tell them that it is not just a love story it’s more than that. It will give you a glimpse of those dreams which you see while growing up. It will tickle you to smiles and it will also make you cry. So please read “Love Tennis”. Other than the book, I would love to tell you guys that whatever happens in life, keep believing in yourself. Nothing can stop you to achieve your dreams if you really want it. I know it takes time but it happens. Also while you are running after your dreams don’t forget to love!
