I go to a Southern Baptist Church!
@imaflippingunicorn-I live close to that church! I go to First Baptist Church. I used to go to Temple Hill but we decided to switch because we thought it was time for a change.
I go to Weslyan Pentecostal Church (WPC) of Elizabeth City.
@SHINE: My family had to do that for 5 1/2 years before we found another church we liked.
My dad is the pastor there, and we've been here for almost two years. I'm a member, and have been... for almost two years. Lol I've been saved since the age of eight, and have been a member of all of the churches we've attended.@Emily, the reason you should become a member of your church, at least this is the reason in Baptists, is because you can not do certain things within the church if you are not. You can not lead, teach, or often help in certain ways because you are not "officially" a part of that church. It's always good to be a member.
Same. I think I'm going to have my own class for VBS this year. So, that will be fun!

I'm a Catholic. I am I part of a tight-knit community. Many, many people in my town are Baptist.

no not really. I mean for like baptism and stuff they share your testimony and stuff, and you can go up to the front and pray, but that's really it.
yeah, we have that and something else called discovery where they do these groups for parents and kids, like there's a technology one to help keep kids safe and stuff.
thats cool. Do you do a youth group or anything on wednesdays or sunday nights?
we do like a quick "sermon" which is like 20 minutes and sometimes a video. then we go into small groups and talk about it, then come back out and do music and play a game, so. :)

My whole family goes! We live right by our church being we're the pastors family, and all of us are under the age of fifteen, so even if we didn't want to we wouldn't have a choice. Lol But we all want to.@Joey (or Joseph🤷♀️Lol) Some could argue that there is only two families attending our church. Everyone is related to everyone! It's a small town. Lol And then there's us, who moved here about two years ago.
@Emily, Wow, we don't have to speak in front of everyone. We just have to come down, talk and pray with the pastor, and then stand in front of the church while he announces it because it's a very important and exciting thing for someone to join a church! And then everyone will come down and congratulate them. That's all!
Yeah, I totally get it, but I think our family is often that one. I mean, we don't ever get there late, but we have a five and a seven year old and we sit on the front row. Also, our dad's the pastor, so he can't help. Lol We can sometimes be a little bit of a distraction. But I get it. Come on people! You're late. Punishment: Back row!
We always sit in the same seat, and mass is an hour.
I sit in the front row with my six people family. Because our dad is the pastor, and we've just always sat there.

I only have one dog and cat, but we're getting another dog soon.
the puppy we're getting is a springerdoodle and we think our other one is a springerdoodle too. The lady who sold her to us lied about her breed so we don't really know.

My family consists of both my parents (been married for 28 years this July) I have three older sisters, five little sisters and two little brothers and we all go to the same church and my dad is the pastor. We just started this switchback in February. And it's under construction, so we have like advertised much. Occasionally out friend brings some of his friends and then some other friends will visit.
Wow, congrats Emily! I wish my church had more members. We actually have 5 others churches that are in the same organization that we fellowship with.
Well, I'm my home church there is 12 right now... But in the organization a whole lot more, I haven't ever counted. 😂

I have four sisters. One lives with her mom. And I don't have any pets, and our church has an average of thirty people attending on Sunday mornings.

Yeah, everyone is related to everyone in our church. Except for us, because we moved there, and don't have any family closer than five hours away from us.

I think the last time I was in a Mega Church, I was a baby. And apparently I screamed and cried because the music was too loud. xDMy church is a small Baptist Church. We have about 30ish people, give or take. I've never really counted.

Basically a giant church. Usually with 1000s or even 10,000s in the congregation. Lots of people.
I've been to a few. I wouldn't want to be a member, but, if you want to go to church as a visitor, and don't want to talk to anyone, you should go there.
I'm not a big fan of talking. I'd rather sit around and listen than talk, unless i'm with a group of friends or been with the person for an hour or two.

OK, not sure if you understand. You can't just disagree that Catholics aren't Christians BECAUSE THEY ARE. Catholics were the ORIGINAL Christians, then the church split in two. If anything, Baptist, Methodist, and whatever -the-else-you-are aren't the Christians. Here some more facts for you <3:

Excuse me, it is not a place of suffering. It is the in-between. It's neutral. You are not punished, you do not suffer. It's just "Meh," compared to the heaven and hell.
