Annalisa | 1659 comments I’ve been trying to listen to some shorter audiobooks, but my hold for Moloka’i just came in and I’ve been waiting months, so I’m going to be listening to that next. I’m not going to add it to our sheet because I’m sure we will have finished the stream long before I finish the audiobook.

Annalisa | 1659 comments Do we want to pick our next stream? Seems like we are getting close to done with our current streams.

message 115: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments Yes, I think we should pick another stream - I have a few books that won't fit in our current one too.

Suggestions?

message 116: by Angie ☯ (last edited May 31, 2019 12:54PM) (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments Do you guys think either of these have a "very dark" or "creepy" cover?

My Soul to Save (Soul Screamers, #2) by Rachel Vincent ~ The Collectors (Karma Police #3) by Sean Platt ~ Deviant (Karma Police #4) by Sean Platt

I think The Collectors is creepy.....and have My Soul to Save on 285 pages....

but does Deviant work for very dark cover?

message 117: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I think the Collector is creepy too. I think the covers are dark for the other two when they are small but when I seem them larger they both have bright areas so I’m not sure.

message 118: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments Okay - that was my worry. Thanks, Annalisa!! I'll leave them as I have them and carry Deviant over to our next stream.

message 119: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) Dark Cover

Bear's Redemption (One True Mate, #6) by Lisa Ladew

message 120: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) I was looking at the next thread since to start. I was thinking of A1-A1a-A1ab since there are several easy tasks to do. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

message 121: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments That one looks good to me.

message 122: by Teddie (new)

Teddie (teddieg) | 1011 comments Let's go for it! I'll get it all colored up :)

I'm starting The Last Town tonight so we'll have that stream done by Sunday.

message 123: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I'm not sure if the title starts with "A" or two people hugging or cuddling will be harder to find. I have About That Kiss (Heartbreaker Bay, #5) by Jill Shalvis and am not sure where I should place it.

message 124: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments Sounds good to me too!

I would say the two people hugging/cuddling would be the harder of the two, Annalisa.

message 125: by Ora (last edited Jun 01, 2019 01:48AM) (new)

Ora (oeamis) I am slowly re-reading the Guild Hunters series before the new one in Sept. All the books begin with A

Good book Annalisa! I really enjoy that series.

message 126: by Teddie (new)

Teddie (teddieg) | 1011 comments What do you guys think of this as a street scene:
What You Want To See (Roxane Weary, #2) by Kristen Lepionka

It’s blurry, but you know she’s walking down a street. I remember Mods were a little strict on this one...

message 127: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) Looks like it to me when I enlarge it.

message 128: by Teddie (new)

Teddie (teddieg) | 1011 comments Awesome! Thanks Ora

message 129: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I have also really been enjoying the Heartbreaker Bay series. I’ll put it in for hugging/cuddle task.

message 130: by Angie ☯ (last edited Jun 03, 2019 07:25PM) (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments I know we don't have to use Tineye for cover colors...but I like to check myself. It shows this book as 42.4% grey and 38.5% black, but I don't see much black....do you guys think this works for grey cover?

Hunted (The Iron Druid Chronicles, #6) by Kevin Hearne ~ 6/2

If not, I will put it on 384 pages. I have one other that will have to go to our next stream though. I'll do better with my next few reads!

I see a lot of black.

message 133: by Teddie (new)

Teddie (teddieg) | 1011 comments Woot!

message 134: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) YES!

message 135: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments Great job team!!

message 136: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments The challenge ends 6/10/19 at 5:00 am EST.

Do we want to try to start another stream or do you think we can get any of it done? It sounded like in the instructions that we would get points for each completed section (done in order), so do you think we can get the first section of another one completed?

I will be flying to Orlando tomorrow and then to India Fri/Sat - so I will have a lot of reading time on the plane (it's 21 hours of flying time). I can try to get as many completed as possible, if you guys want to try.

message 137: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I think we will potentially be able to get part way through another one. I have about an hour left on Moloka’i and then I’m planing on listening to a few shorter audiobooks. Do we think an A or B stream would be better? I’m leaning towards B.

message 138: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments That's what I thought too, Annalisa! I'm leaning toward B as well, just because we've done 3 As.... I think the first section is the same on all the Bs. Does anyone have a preference on the other sections?

I think B2-B2a-B2ab looks like the easiest.... Anyone have one they would prefer to do?

message 139: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I agree I think B2-B2a-B2ab looks good. I also thought B1-B1a-B1ab looked alright.

message 140: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments Those were the 2 I was debating on. I decided the letters in the B2a might give us more options than the specific tasks in B1a. I'm good with either one though.

message 141: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I was thinking the same thing. Let’s go with the B2 one unless someone else thinks otherwise.

message 142: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I added a book to the B2 stream since I’ve already started it.

message 143: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) I think we can get several tasks of a new thread. I am fine with that one. I will be reading more now until the end of the challenge.

message 144: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) Grey cover?
Blurred Lines by Lauren Layne

message 145: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments Yes, that looks like a grey cover. I’m glad you were able to find that. I’ve been looking and not finding anything I wanted to read that is currently available with a grey cover.

message 146: by Teddie (new)

Teddie (teddieg) | 1011 comments Sounds good to me!

I should be done with The Fortune Teller - which I’m really digging, by the way - then I’m signed up for another. I should be able to do at least one more book after that - are sunglasses ok for the glasses task? If so, I could read Heist Society (Heist Society, #1) by Ally Carter for that one.

message 147: by Annalisa (new)

Annalisa | 1659 comments I was wondering about that too. I’m not sure if it needs to be glasses or if sunglasses will work.

message 148: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) I’m not sure either. I am leaning towards yes that sunglasses would work

message 149: by Angie ☯ (new)

Angie ☯ | 990 comments They are glasses - so I say they would work. Regular glasses wouldn't work if it called for sunglasses...

Plus this is a police/cop theme and they would be wearing dark /sun glasses! Lol!

message 150: by Teddie (new)

Teddie (teddieg) | 1011 comments That is true! :D
