Should we stick with the B stream?Any stream in particular people want to add?
I don't have a strong preference with which stream, but I think sticking with B stream is good.So, my reading will be a little slow this week - I'll still get books done but my mother died yesterday morning and I've been at my dad's house surrounded by family and dealing with things :)

I just picked B2-B2b-B2bbbecause it seemed easy and didn't have any tasks with high page counts.

Sorry my reading has been so slow last week - there just weren't many opportunities. If I had known before the challenge I wouldn't have joined, but wasn't something you can plan!Anyway - this coming week should be a lot better. I just got a hold back from the library - it is
. I may just end up sending it back, because it is kind of long, but I'm wondering if it would work for "only a persons head on the cover" . It IS only a head, but it in pieces, so... I don't know!
No worries Suzanne, I just see this as something fun. I haven't even bothered to look to see how we are doing compared with other teams.And real life is certainly more important.
I would think it works but if you aren't in the mood for it or if it is really long (her books can be), we can always find something else.

I decided to return the Slaughter book - it's too long and too grim for this week. I downloaded In an Absent Dream instead for my new audible book - only 4 hours instead of 16!

That's great to have started a 3rd stream. I've been a bit out of touch the last few weeks with watching our grands and my hospital procedure. It's nice to be back in the swing again! I completed The Editor for the task "first word in text starts with T" and will soon be starting The House at Sugar Beach which is for the same task. I'm going to check the new stream to see if another book I'm currently reading will work.

Thanks for the update, Judith. Maybe we can slide up into second place, but either way the challenge has been low key and has helped me to read more than normal. Thanks for the warning on the days left too. I was going to ask this morning as I couldn't remember the deadline. I have most of the day free today, so I should be able to get some nice reading done!

We are doing so great, team! Looks like we just have B2-B2b-B2bb left to read for completion. Double check me, but I think I have now completed all my committed books.
So is the deadline for EST in the US on Saturday night? It's hard for me to tell because the clock registers the time for Sydney.
So right now there is 2 days and 9 hours left.I think that is like 4am EST on Monday
I finished my "black hair" book so now we just have #3 stream to do. I'll be sure to have the others done by the deadline - I wish I could read more - there are just so many good books around :)
I know Suzanne! I keep trying to read all the books on my TBR list plus ones I have around the house from swaps and what not. And yet the piles never seem to get smaller and my TBR only gets longerI’m just adding books as I start them since I’m not sure how many more I can squeeze in. Definitely the one I’m currently reading. Maybe one more.

Also, I was looking and realized we are sort of close to having the 2 streams done. Should we start a third? I’m not sure we’d get through it all but we get points for whatever we get done and not just fully completed streams, right?
I’m asking because if we start a 3rd and decide to stick with B streams books I recently finished could cover the street and hospital tasks. They are currently down for easy to replace tasks, but they’d still need to be replaced.
