Total number of titles read in April for "History"

In April, we cumulatively read 123 different titles for the "history" tag.

We are having a good year! (I also think we are getting lots of new members, which helps!)

Every month this year, we've had over 100 titles for each tag we've read (so far, anyway):

April 2019: History - 123 books read
March 2019: Debut - 118 books read
February 2019: Life - 100 books read
January 2019: Action-Adventure - 143 books read

Thanks for the link, that's an interesting list.

Do you have any stats for the countries in the horizons challenge? I didn't see any of the country tags in the bookshelf, and I think it would be nice to keep track of that. I'd like to look back at all the books that people read on Italy for instance.

Nancy, you can go to the bookshelf and in the far left column it lists all the shelf names. There is one called PBT horizons(or something along those lines) click on it and then on that page you can sort the shelf by date added-and then it will be sorted by month and all the books listed in same month are the culture for that month-there is probably an overlap in the early parts of the following month

I think Nicole has been keeping the PBT Horizons shelf up to date, but they aren't separated by month (beyond the month the book was added; that's the only clue. We didn't created separate shelves for each month/country.

I think the tags is called "expanding our PBT horizons".

I'll just add an additional plug that anyone can add their own books for the monthly tag, "expanding our pbt horizons", or "trim the tbr". The tags/shelves are already set up, so feel free to plunk in your own books and add them to the proper shelf.

I do a double check after the month is over (for the monthly tag; I believe Nicole has been keeping the annual challenge shelves up to date) to be sure things aren't missed, but anyone is able to add their own books, as well.

Ah, it also occurred to me that people can read books for the Horizons challenge that fit the challenge, but don't necessarily fit the country for that month.

So... there will be extra/added books in there (even on the month that looks "right" for the county you are interested in) that don't necessarily fit that month.
