How I Feel About Matthias

Look I hate Matthias more than any other character in the book. He is possibly the worst one. Not because of his back story or anything like that. It's just because he has a way to get under peoples skin. But to be 100% honest we don't his WHOLE back story. There are still questions. Like, what did Nina do to make him hate her so much? Is he just a misunderstood character? Did the death of his family make him this way? Is that why he hates Nina so much? Because her people killed them? Will he ever go back to loving Nina again? So I guess we will just have to read into the book a little more. But another question is, will he end up killing Nina? Will something trigger him to just say forget and kill her? Another question is what if they do get out of the Ice Court and Matthias gets his money then will he kill Nina? Or will hesitate? Because if you read carefully you can tell deep down he still loves her very much.
