Rangers Apprentice: The Battle for Skandia by John Flanagan Reviewed by Ciaran Zornes
Will and the gang are yet again in another pickle. As they begin to flee Skandia and go on their way home they discover an enemy force ready to ride on the capital of Skandia, now this might not seem like a big problem but it is when the enemy is blocking their path out of Skandia and they no choice but to stay and see if they will ever be able to get out. During the days of waiting a Skandian patrol spots them and brings them back to the capital with the news they have. To stay alive, they devise a plan to help Skandia and eventually escape back home.
This book is a really good addition to the series filled with action and excitement that makes it impossible to put down. Sadly though its repetitive as all get out if you like reading books where you know what’s going to happen before, before it happens then by all means go ahead and read the series they are really well written and fun to read but if you enjoy variation in the books you read don’t bother with these books.
