Corey Lamb (officialcoreylamb) | 3 comments Hi there,

I'm looking for an editor for a short story I've written (roughly 6500 words). It's a horror short, set in 1970s East Texas, revolving around a teenager who is "in the wrong place, at the wrong time".

I'd like someone who is a horror fan, someone with a good eye to catch my grammar mistakes, and someone who will call me out when a paragraph doesn't work, or a story beat falls flat, etc.

I have other books I've written/am working on, that will need to be edited one day, so this is also me looking for a potential editorial relationship for future projects. No obligation, of course.

I don't have a fixed rate in mind (I figure we'd discuss that), but I was imagining somewhere in the ballpark of $0.01/word, especially for this particular short story. Though I'm not married to that amount.

PM me, if you're interested.
