Hello from Michigan

Hello all! I'm a 30 year old transwoman who is simply trying to find the time to enjoy a good book. All throughout my school life I had ample time to read it seems, but since I've been in the workforce the time to read and relax has gone down tremendously.

My love of literature all seemed to start with The Wayfarer Redemption series in high school. I'm sure it was something in Elementary, but sadly I can't recall what books really made me want to read. I typically stick to the fantasy genre, but occasionally I jump to the philosophy section ( have to get some use out of my degree :) ).

Slowly I've been trying to branch out to a few others genres and I'm always look forward to book suggestions. A good portion of series that I've read or am reading have been related to either the Warhammer universe or Dungeons and Dragons.

Not sure what else to really type so I shall leave it at that. I hope y'all have a wonderful day and week

Hi and welcome. One of the ways I get recommendations is to look at other member's profiles and see what books we have in common. Often that tells me we've got similar interests, & I'll look at their bookshelves as well. And of course you can look at the threads to see what people are currently reading. Hope you enjoy yourself here and find books to read, and share with us too!
