I am trying to remember the name of a book that was written in the 80's I believe. I came out when Peretti's books did. It was about an Angel that was writing a journal or history and I remember the phrase "Once an Angel of Light". I remember picking it up and looking through it in a book store but I can't remember the name. I don't think it sold a lot of copies.

Fallen Angel? There's not much about it on Goodreads, but the blurb on the back begins: "Observer, a fallen angel, is commissioned by his master to write a chronicle of work events justifying Satan's single-minded dedication to the destruction of God's creation."

It's available in The Internet Archive. You need to be a member to take out books, but membership is free; you only need to provide an e-mail address.
