Amazon is preventing me from selling my own book.

When I bought the ISBN for my book, "In braccio alla mamma," I had no idea that the ISBN people sell lists of newly published books to different sites so that they can offer them for sale.

I was horrified to find out that Amazon put my book on their site because Amazon can not and will not ever pay me for any books they sell.

Now I've found out that I can't even get the book into stores. (I'm in Italy.) They look in their computer and see that Amazon says the book will be published on Dec. 31, 2019. (I have no idea where they got that date from.) Then they tell me the book hasn't been published yet, even though they're holding it in their hand.

Maybe they think I got hold of the files for the book and printed it without telling the publisher and I'm trying to make a little money illegally.

I've written to Amazon five times to explain the problem, using their English-language help. They keep giving me answers that seem to have some vague connection to what I've said. Apparently, they just skim through the messages, see a word, and vomit up the response from the manual.

I don't know what to do anymore. Can anyone suggest anything?
