Sarah is concerned that her mother will have her drift back into the society life. It appears that she doesn’t plan to continue as a midwife after her marriage. Do you think she’ll be content in her new role? Does she have a choice?

Phrynne | 607 comments Pretty sure she will not be content at all. I see her becoming an assistant in the PI business:)

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments I can't see her doing nothing to keep busy. I thought she would open a clinic or maybe train another midwife to take her place. I like Phrynne's idea of her working at the PI office.

I can’t see her sitting idly at home, either. And, she’s a nurse at heart who loves sleuthing. There’s no way she’s going to be content walking away from either.

I also like your idea, Phrynne and still haven’t given up on Sarah opening some sort of clinic.

Phrynne | 607 comments The clinic would be good. She will have the money to set up something free to help the poor.

Fingers crossed 🤞 as I like that idea😏

~ Giulia ~ | 193 comments I'm hoping for the clinic idea too. In any case I don't see her being content without something to do, be it nursing or sleuthing ;)

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I was surprised that Sarah would be giving up her midwifery as she clearly loves helping women. That said, it makes sense in a way as she became a nurse to help her first husband, so her helping Malloy with his cases, in the same way, makes sense. Either way, I do not see her sitting idle.
