Add Book to Series Please

If you could add this book to the Psy-Changling series, please! It does say it's 9.1 like Clean and Dirty, but it takes place during Play of Passion, while Clean and Dirty takes place between Play of Passion and Kiss of Snow, so I think Clean and Dirty should be 9.2.

Someone removed it from the series because it is a "deleted scene" from Play of Passion (rather than taking place before or after, I guess).
That librarian left a note not to add it back. I haven't encountered this before.

Huh. That's weird. Just because it's a deleted scene, doesn't mean it's not part of the series, so it's odd that it's not there. Plus the other 3 deleted scenes there aren't on Goodreads. This is troubling my brain!

The argument from the Librarian who deleted this story from the series for the reason of it being a deleted scene makes sense. It's perhaps difficult to find in the Librarian Manual, but deleted scenes are among the short story types that are not considered valid book records on Goodreads.

However the phrasing 'deleted scene' is not used by the author herself, who describe it on her web site as 'was originally written as part of Play of Passion'.

The key question as I see it - if the story is a deleted scene the book record should be deleted. If it's not a deleted scene, it should stay on Goodreads and be added to the series. Since it has over 5,000 shelvings it's probably a case I would escalate to staff for a final decision before deletion.
