Dana (dkmckelvey) | 623 comments I did too now, and am at the beginning of my June book, The Stranger Beside Me: Ted Bundy: The Shocking Inside Story... I love thrillers (obviously) but True Crime can be a little too much for me... scary! Also, her story of Ted Bundy is quite different already from the movie storyline...

I think that was the book that hooked my on true crime. I really like how Rule acknowledges the detectives and others who search for justice

Vicki Willis Totally agree, Perri. I was into an Ann Rule phase in the early '90s and boy was her stuff terrifying.

Perri | -43 comments It's been a while since I read it, but one thing I remember , I believe at the call center where Rule and Bundy worked together (view spoiler)

I remember once hearing how Ted used to walk Ann to her car late at night after their shifts. Imagine what she went through after she found out the truth!

She became obsessed with writing True Crime books-haha. No, I think she was writing before that, but this one put her on the map. And no, I can't imagine!

Dana (dkmckelvey) | 623 comments I can't imagine either! But also I wonder about his ex-girlfriends too, what their lives must be like afterwards... crazy
