One finished, two well underway. The first review will be this weekendIf you are looking for a recommendation:
A Time of Gifts
Posted and so officially off the TBR list is
Just over 1/2 way on book 2 with the first 1/3 of book 3in the rear view .
Three reads completed tho only 1 review printed. Two more under way but only one of the horse chokers. At that it is Parodies and a fairly light if long read.
Charcoal Sketches done and reviewed, Dona Flor well underwayExcept it looks like , and despite my public promise I will be adding at least one new book to my TBR hard copy or virtual possessions
Me thinks I shall be adding at least two new books to my collection and making of at least one a buddy read. Given my progresss to date mabey the simple rouet is to shift to an 18 book challenge, I am at 13 now, about to make that 15 so given a moment or so I ll have my 18 picked out.
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...Is now finished and I have started goat choker number two:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
I am also committed to a 14 the book, so I may be in for a longer climb than originally planned.
After the Quake is done whch means seven in the rear view mirror. No 8 Zuleika Dobson will wrap up fairly quick. Then I hit steeper slopes. Likely no more fast finishers for a while
Fooled yaDear Park done first
Zuleika maybe 5 or 6 more days. Oddly the American Senator is 1/2 way ish. Had not thought that would go this fast.
Zuleika read so ten behind beSenator going quickly
2 others in play and one still waiting.
Pagans looks like it will be a fight to the finish. If I may borrow a phrase.
Much to my surprise American Senator is done making the count 9 of my original 13, plus the one extra so 10 of 14 doneOf the 4 remaining 3 are underway. Of these two are proving heavy going.
Even so I am now announcing that number 15 will be:
Sentimental Education (Dover Thrift Editions) Kindle Edition
Of my original 13, ten are done.1 over half read, 1 (less than 100 pages read) is going to be a bear
and the last will be started later today.
I will soon have read 15 of my original 13, maybe it is time to shift to Mt. Blanc?
As of now I have finished 12 of my original 13 plus one I added later.Pagans and Christians s going to be a major challenge, but I am going to keep it going even as I shift from this to the next level.
Against 24 I have a few more titles to ID before I can list the my next stage, It may be a few days but this should be my last post here

My real interest in joining the group is because my hard copy /ecopy Mt TBR is way too big. Maybe this will keep me from my want to reads, and out side nudges. If I have a posted commitment to these then maybe nothing gets bought till these are reviewed. FWIW I do not count a book until it is reviewed and sometimes a review waits.
