SOLVED. Literary fiction about an unpublished author taking a newly published author around the city [s]

I hope it's okay I post more than once! This one is about a guy who has writers block and works with authors visiting his city and takes them around for their book tour, on behalf of an agent/publisher/bookstore he works for or something. It's lightly inspired by the authors own experiences too. (Author is male). It was a funny book, the author coming into town was a friend of the unpublished author from college. The author is kind of goofball/former slacker who the unpublished author is surprised got successful. One funny scene is the published author made a comment about how he hates when you think you are taking a sip of soda and it ends up being milk. (Weird I remembered that). Anyways, it's about this unpublished writer getting inspired again. And there is a female character in the publishing industry trying to inspire him too. (Kind of a tough as nails type of lady). It was published between 2008-2012 or so. Although it was inspired by the authors life, it was definitely fiction.
