Going to finish Storm Glass. Then onto Royal Assassin, Half a War, The Girl of Fire and Thorns and finally Poison Study.
I only typically read 1-2 books a month on avarage this year, I couldn't list out several I planned to read in a month. Starting with Prince of Thorns. If I finish it before the month is up I may read something not fantasy on my shelf to get some of those out the way.

I bought six Snyder books on a kindle daily deal some years ago. I need to read them.

Still Swords of the Steppes: The Complete Cossack Adventures, Volume Four. It's great but kind of long, so I'll be at it for a while. Not that I'm complaining ...
Finished Storm Glass. I rated it three stars. It was enjoyable but (view spoiler). Overall it was pretty good for the most part. Now on to Half a War.
Just finished World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War which was fantastic. On to Equal Rites and after that The Broken Eye

Oh, your gonna love The Broken Eye.
Oh, your gonna love The Broken Eye.
I'm currently on The Crown Tower and The Hobbit or There and Back Again. I usually read more than one book at a time, and I set myself a Tolkien challenge for this year, so hoping to get a good amount of reading done, and keep ahead of my reading challenge :)
I'm about half way throught The Bear and the Nightingale, really liking it so far, and am going to start Prince of Thorns for the May read.
Have just finished Ruin which was brilliant. The first book took a bit of getting into but the series just gets better and better. I now have the final volume ready to read Wrath
Oh Janette, so good!
I'm reading the Mercy Thompson/ Alpha & Omega books, they are massively addictive.

Okay, finished Prince Of Thorns, I'll keep an eye out for the second book when I stalk charity shops. Now moving on to Uprooted.
Finished Wrath and really loved it. There's nothing better than being able to read an entire series for the first time especially when it's as enjoyable as this series was.Next up is Prince of the Spear which is the next book in the Sunsurge series.
I finished The Armored Saint the other day. I liked it, but I did have some problems with it too.I started One Word Kill. Going to be Mark Lawrence May I guess. :) Off to a depressing start, but I'm hoping it doesn't stay that way through the whole book.
finished Prince of thorns so going to reread the wheel of time books I have read the first nine years ago but I am going to and read all from the start so for May it's The Eye of the World
After finishing The Crown Tower last month, I needed to know how the Ryiria Revelations series ended so Heir of Novron was the first book I read this month. Love, love, love Hadrian and Royce.I just started The Poppy War. I wanted to explore a few more Asian fantasy books since I enjoyed The Night Tiger so much.
Couldn't finish Uprooted. It just didn't grab at me at all. I struggled to pick my next book but I figured I have to work on some series I've already started and went for Magic's Promise
I've finished Half a War and The Girl of Fire and Thorns. Half a world was great. The Girl of Fire and Thorns not so much. It was just ok. Like Helen I'm on to Poison Study. Should start it tomorrow.
working on Lev Grossman Magicians series which counts for this group and Nicholas Sansbury Smith Helldivers series which does not.

Oh I thought you'd read this.

Tnkw01 wrote: "It doesn't have Royce or Hadrian but you should try the Legends of the First Empire series."Thanks, I'll put that series on my to-read list.
Started The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan again. I stopped on book 9 a long while ago and am attempting to finish the series. I would also like to finish The Blinding Knife by Brent Weeks.
Finished Swords of the Steppes: The Complete Cossack Adventures, Volume Four, read The Tea Master and the Detective by Aliette de Bodard (it's a novella and on the shortish edge of the range) and started The Citadel of Weeping Pearls, another novella in the same universe.

Oho, ambitious! Good luck with your reread! :D

Just read Blood Song I really enjoyed this and am pleased to have found another completed series that I can read. Love the fact that my library seems to have spent money on fantasy books at long last. Tower Lord is on order and will hopefully arrive soon.
Finished Poison Study. Only gave it 2 stars. On to The Girl Who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a Ship of Her Own Making.
I finished up a bunch of Aliette de Bodard's shorter fiction (including Scattered Among Strange Worlds and some other Xuya stories and novellas) and, having gotten a bit of an epic fantasy jones from watching Game of Thrones, started The Dragon's Path by Daniel Abraham.

Which one? If you meant Poison Study I thought I had also but when I read the description I realized I hadn't. I have to admit I sometimes run stories together in my head. Especially if I doing two at the same time with similar storylines.

I finished Holy Sister last night. It was all right. Good conclusion to the story at least. And I've cracked open my Books of Earthsea tome again to read The Farthest Shore. However, I'm going on vacation tomorrow and so I can't bring this with me. It's definitely not portable. So I've picked a different book to read on vacation, a historical fiction called The Room on Rue Amélie.
I did mean Poison Study. We’re having this discussion in another thread. Lol.
I’m now on Fire Study - getting those old books read! I’m listening (nearly finished) to War Cross by Marie Lu.

I'm currently listening to The Aeronaut's Windlass. I haven't read a lot of "steampunk" but I'm a fan of Jim Butcher. So far really enjoying the book! Also just about to start Fool's Assassin. I'm avoiding it though because I'm a little sad that I'm almost to the end of the Elderlings saga.

I love The Aeronaut's Windlass. I just wish we can get the next book, [book:The Olympian Affair|26860699].

I loved The Aeronaut’s Windlass too. Would need to reread it if the sequel ever appeared though. I now have Tower Lord to read on holiday next week. The reviews say that it isn’t really a direct sequel to Blood Song which is a bit disappointing.
Janette wrote: "I loved The Dagger and the Coin series. Hope you enjoy them Joseph"Definitely enjoying them so far!
