I've made a really dumb mistake!

It makes a definite difference inserting Venetia. Halfway through April Lady it became a better book. Then GH wrote 3 of her strongest Regencies..
I must contain my excitement a little longer, sigh! Actually, I'm happy to read Venetia again--I've only read it twice and never liked it, but so many in this group adore it that I feel I should try again. And *blushes* at your kind words. Nobody who knows me in real life would ever praise my calm demeanor! More likely horse-laugh.
Ok, I'll wait a little longer for this one ("The Unknown Ajax") that seems fairly popular among you all. :-)

I was wondering what had happened to Venetia! Glad to see she's on the schedule!Carol, I had never heard the phrase "made a blue" before. That's cute.

One of the things I have always admired about Abigail is her calm, reasonable demeanour in this group. So I'm (fairly) sure she will be really nice about this when I say I've made a blue & she won't be back with her favourite book boyfriend until July.
Our June Group Read (since we are reading GH's Regencies in order) is Venetia.
I'm really sorry & I can't think how I made such a blunder.

I've double checked one of my copies of Venetia. Definitely first published in 1958. At least we are inserting one of GH's best books.
