I’m halfway through this one.

I really liked the chapter with the Weasley is our king song. Poor Ron they are so mean to him here. And umbridge is such a meanie... but there doesn’t seem much a plot at this point.

I think the plot in this book (view spoiler)[ is more the fight against the ministry and Harry figuring out the connection between him and Voldemort. I can see where this might not be figured out to later in the book or even more in the last two books of the series. Or maybe I am reading this different than others. Let me know your thoughts. I agree about Umbridge. As for Ron, Malfoy is such a bully. (hide spoiler)]

I’m about 70% through this one. Seems like a lot that was not in the movie. (view spoiler)[I think the main plot is Harry and the gang sneak in and steal something from the ministry of magic that Voldemort is also trying to get. Although what that something is I don’t remember. (hide spoiler)]

This book was very long but excellent.

(view spoiler)[One thing I either didn't realize or forgot was Umbridge admitting she had send the Dementors to attack Harry at the beginning of the book. Also the big reveal at the end was the prophecy that Harry or Voldemort must kill the other. It was also sad when Serius died. (hide spoiler)]
