"Should I at least change? I look like a bum." She said, looking down at her baggy t shirt and ripped jeans.

He laughed "Sure, I'll be here"
She nodded and felt a little nervous leaving him alone for a while as she changed, but decided to make it quick. She ducked into the bathroom and changed into black skinny jeans and a loose white tank top and quickly braided her hair before scrubbing the blood off her face.
While she was getting ready he decided to tell his little sister that he would be out later than usual and he would be home soon.
She came back out and pulled on some combat boots and shrugging on a leather jacket, throwing up the hood over her head. "Ready?"
"Wow" he said looking at her
She stopped and looked down at herself. "What?"
"You look..amazing" he said smiling
If any other person told her this, she would have rolled her eyes or agreed. But her outfit wasn't particularly sexy, which made her smile. "Thanks."
"Okay, ready to go?" He asked her
She nodded and opened her door and waited for him on the platform of the stairs.
He walked out of her apartment and shut the door
Amy skipped down the stairs, shoving her hands into her pockets
He smiled as he saw her skipping down the stairs. He walked behind her
She stopped so he could walk beside her. "Where are we going?"
"Just follow me" he told her smiling
She smirked and followed close behind him.
He was going to take her to a place where he went all the time after his mother died and and where he sometimes hid from his father. It had an overlook of a lake, and he wanted to share it with her
"Alex, how old do you think I am?" She suddenly asked as they walked.
"100?" He guessed "I'm guessing you lived a long time"
"I have yes. But I'm 126." She laughed.
"I was close" he said laughing
She laughed a little and peaked at him over the rim of her hood.
"Whatcha thinking about?" He asked her as she looked at him
"How ridiculous this is." She said with a laugh.
"It's not ridiculous" he said laughing
"I guess" he said as he started to near the area
"Yeah, it's right ahead"
As they reached the top he looked over at the lake "isn't it beautiful?" He said
Amy gasped and stopped, starring at the lake, the moon reflecting off of it. "Wow...it is beautiful.."
"I used to come here all the time" he said smiling
"Yeah" he said smiling as he sat down
She sat down beside him. "Can I ask what happened?"
"She was diagnosed with lung cancer" he said simply ((sorry I started school today..ugh lol))
Amy frowned and touched his arm. "I'm sorry.."((No worries! I started on Tuesday...lol))
"Its fine" he said "She died when I was 15"((lol I didn't want to go backkkk))
She squeezed his shoulder gently. "Mine died when I was five." ((Uhg, same. What grade are you in?))
"I'm sorry" he said sympathetically ((pm))
She shrugged and took her hand back. "It was my fault."
"How?" he asked her missing the feel of her hand
"Well, I feed off of blood and since I was so young, I couldn't quite go out and get my own. So, she had me feed off her since the day I was born. I drank from her for five years...drank my mothers life away."
"Oh." he said "But can you control how much you drink now?"
She nodded slowly. "If I drink to much I can get very sick." She then made a face.
"So lets say you find a person that knows everything, can you feed off of them?"
She was silent for a few minutes then looked at him. "Yeah, if I wanted to."
"Well I have a offer for you" he told her looking at her
