"That's sweet." She smiled, but starred off in to space as she thought of her own mother.

"Yeah it was before she passed"
"Aw, Alex I'm sorry." She said sincerely, touching his shoulder reassuringly.
"It's okay" he said, even though he was surprised that she was actually touching him
She took her hand away hastily. "My mother passed away too."
"If you don't mind me asking, but how?"
"I murdered her." She said flatly. Well, she didn't do it on purpose but she wasn't ready to explain.
"Oh" he said quietly. He didn't expect that, but he wasn't going to judge her
"I know it doesn't lighten the situation but I didn't do it on purpose." She whispered, barely audible.
"I didn't think that you did" he said looking at her
"Why? You just saw what I did." She said, looking at him. She didn't believe him.
"I know that you had to do that Amy, and I don't think that your a bad person honestly"
Any is silent for a moment as she just stares at him. What could she say since she's never heard those words before spoke to her? She finally sighed and threw her hands up. "Fine. Fuck it. Ask me whatever you want and I'll answer honestly."
"What are you?" He asked her, he truly wanted to know and he was finally happy that she was opening up to him
She tucked her knees underneath her as she re-adjusted her position to face him head on. "I can be called many names. But to keep it simple, I'm half-demon."
"So half human?" He asked looking at her as she faced him
"Not really. I'm only half demon because my mother was human." She told him.
"So that means your fathers a demon." He said plainly
She looked away and nodded. "The worst kind, too."
" I don't think that there are good kinds of demons" He joked trying to make light of the situation
"I suppose so." She laughed a little. "Alex, have you ever heard of The Incubus?"
"No, what's that?" He asked interested
"He's a demon who visits vulnerable females in their dreams and rapes them; his goal is in-pregnate them." She explained
"That's sick" he said as he made a face
"That's what happened to my mom." She whispered, starring at her lap sadly.
"Crap, I'm sorry Amy" he said
"That's how this monster came to be." She said ruefully, pointing at herself.
"And you survive off of blood?"
"I have to. It's the only way I can stay this way. Looking human, I mean."
"But do you have to kill the guy?" He asked her curiously
"I usually do. So they won't tell anyone what happened. That's why I go after rapists of killers so it doesn't effect me that much."
"Makes sense" he said soaking everything in
"Stuff can happen to me if I drink to much of don't drink enough in time."
"Wow." He told her "So I have a crush on a half demon" he admitted
"Y-you what?" She looked at him dubiously.
He looked into her eyes "I like you Amy. Half-Demon or not, I like you"
Amy made a weird sound of frustration and shook her head. "Alex, I'm sorry but you and me can't happen. I'm not suppose to feel attraction. It's how I was made to be." She told him. But she did feel something...at least she thought she did.
"But do you feel anything?" He asked her hopefully
She shrugged. "I don't know what I'm suppose to feel. What does liking someone feel like?"
"For me every time I come near you my heart speeds up a little, and sometimes I'm at a loss of what to say hoping I won't embarrass myself." He admitted to her
"Alex, let me ask you something; why aren't you attracted to me like everyone else? Why aren't to under my spell?" She asked, but thinking about the feelings he described.
"I don't know" he admitted "Well maybe because my only intentions aren't to sleep with you"
"I should probably clear that up. I don't sleep with my prey, even though I'm told to. It's just.. Wrong. That's why he is so upset with me because I was born a girl and not a boy." She sighed deeply.
"Sounds like an asshole" he told her "And as to why I'm not under your spell, I don't know"
"But aren't you the least one bit disgusted as to what I am? What I have to do? I feed off of blood for Christ's sake. And not just blood; lust and pleasure too." She said, standing up abruptly.
"Where are you going?" He asked her as she got up ignoring her questions
"I'm..fuck, I don't know what I'm doing." She shook her head at herself at how stupid she was being.
"It's fine" he said "Can I take you somewhere?" He asked her
"Where?" She asked softly, biting her lip. Her mouth still had blood around it.
"I can't tell you. It's a surprise" he said smiling
