She made a face of confusion second then rolled into her back. "Give me your hand."
He raised his eyebrows,confused and then gave her his hand
She took his hand and placed it on her stomach, then placed her close beside his. "Do you feel that small thump?" She whispered.
His eyes widened "Oh my. That's it"he said smiling
She looked down at their hands and gasped when she felt another thump.
He smiled "That's amazing" he said feeling the baby kick
He laughed 'Who would of thought we would be parents?" he asked smiling
"I expected you to be. I never did with myself."
"Never?" he asked
She scoffed. "Of course not. I'm not suppose to be a mother."
"Look how that turned out" he snorted
She sighed deeply. "I'm going to get in so much shit for this."
He sighed "I didn't think about that"
She sighed and rubbed her stomach gently.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath
"Shouldn't I be asking you that?" he asked as he peeked one eye open to look at her
"I should probably explain who Erik is." She sighed
"That would help a lot"
"I knew him. Back in the late 20's. I guess he would be considered an ex. He was madly in love with me but I didn't feel the same. I was simply trying to survive. For whatever unknown reason he became a vampire."
"So simply a obsessed ex?"
"Yeah. He found me the other day at the diner."
"So the sink was working?" he asked her
She sighed. "Yeah, it was. I'm sorry."
"It's fine" he said lacing their fingers together
"You should rest" he told her
"I should do a lot of things." She teased.
He laughed "Well you need to rest"
She nodded and yawned, drifting off to sleep.
He smiled as she finally fell asleep
She slept soundlessly, her breathing slightly shallow.
He easily got out of the bed to go and get something to eat
She pulled the covers up over her shoulders and sighed in her sleep.
He went in the fridge and saw that there wasn't much in there. He sighed and decided to go out and get something to eat
He sat down next to her wondering if he should leave
She grimaced and clutched her stomach. "No no no." She panted in her sleep.
"Amy" he said as he shook her awake
Alex looked down at her worriedly "Who?"
"Our daughter?"
She mumbled and fell into a deep sleep again.
He sighed and decided not to go anywhere
