Amy held the door open for Alex once they got to the restaurant.

"You know I should be opening the door for you" Alex told her as they walked inside
"Oh well." She laughed, stepping in after him,
He smiled as they were seated at a table for twoErik was seated at a table by himself, sipping a cup of coffee
Amy held onto Alex's arm as the waitress escorted them to their seat.
When they got to the table Alex sat down across from Amy Erik was looking around as a couple was seated across from him. He picked up his coffee and sipped it as his eyes glanced over and he couldn't believe who he saw
Amy flipped her hair over her shoulder and picked up her menu.
Erik sputtered on his coffee, it was Amy, and it looked like she was on a date
Amy smiled and placed a hand over Alex's.
Alex smiled looking at the menu "See anything you like?" he asked her
"Club sandwich." She said, reading the menu.
"That does sound good"
She nodded and stood up. "I've gotta use the restroom."
"Okay, I'll be here" he saidErik quickly stood up, nobody noticing him. He needed to talk to her
She smiled and walked around the tables to the back and into the women's washroom.
He waited outside the women's room for her to come out
She did her business and washed her hands then walked out of the women's washroom, bumping into someone. "Oh shit, sorry."
"For what love?" Erik asked her
Amy froze in place and stepped back. "Erik?" Her eyes go wide.
"You remember me" he said smiling
"Unfortunately." She mumbled under her breath.
"Oh come on love, I know you missed me" he said smiling
"I didn't, actually." She said, standing up straighter.
"Well I missed you" he told her "It seems that you've gotten more beautiful over the years"
She shrugged. "I still look the same. My hair is just longer."
"So who's the pet at the table?" he asked referring to Alex
"Pet?" She scoffed. "He's not my pet. He's my boyfriend."
"Isn't he human?" he asked her quizzically
"What are you with him for then? He will die soon"
"I'm with him because I love him." She said.
He laughed "Love? How long have you known him?"
"You don't love him Amy"
"What do you know? You know nothing about me anymore." She snapped.
"I know that you cant fall in love in a month" he said angrily "I know that I love you" he said grabbing her arm
She jerked her arm away. "Please. How could you possibly love me? It's been over eighty years."
"Eighty years of me wondering what I did for you to just get up and disappear. I had planned on proposing to you that day, but when I woke up, you weren't there"
"I don't stay in places to long. It's dangerous." She said.
"You couldn't of told me that?" he asked
He sighed and took a deep breath "I missed you"
She shrugged and crossed her arms over her chest.
"I'm guessing you want nothing to do with me?"
"Well, I am dating someone right now."
"Can we at least be friends?" he asked her
"I don't know. I haven't seen you in so long. This is just so sudden. "What are you doing in New York anyway?"
"Looking for you" he admitted
"Believe me, I tried, but you were always in the back of my mind"
