She blinked and looked away as a familiar voice spoke to her in her mind. "Um..I gotta go." She said suddenly, darting toward the exit of the club.
"Wait what?" He said as she said she had to go. She had walked away and he had no way to contact her. He ran after her wondering where she was off to suddenly
She made it out of the club and darted into an alley, not wanting to use her super speed to draw attention to herself. She flattened herself against the wall in the shadows.
He followed her every move and saw when she ran into the alleyway "Amy" he called out
She hid deeper into the shadows when she saw him, not wanting to be found. Her father was speaking to her in her mind, and they weren't good things.
He took out his phone and turned on the flashlight holding it up when he saw her pressed against a wall. He walked closer to her "Hey, is everything okay?" He asked her concerned
Kill me....kill him... Her father hissed in her mind. She clamped her hands over her ears and shut her eyes. "No!" She screamed.
He backed away as she screamed "Amy, what's wrong?"
Her hair covered her face as her eyes turned pitch black, thankful that he couldn't see. "Please..I don't want to hurt you." She growled, her voice several different pitches.
"I won't leave you like this" he said even though he didn't know what was happening to her and he was slightly scared
She couldn't help it. With great speed, she had him pinned against the opposite wall of the alley, her hands pressing into his shoulders, her nose barely touching his. Her eyes were visible, dark an eerie as her mouth was slightly bigger than normal, sharp teeth hiding behind her lips. Black veins scattered around her eyes.
He was taken by surprise when she pinned him against the wall. He was slightly scared that this was happening, he had never seen anything like this before. "Amy?" He asked in a whisper
"Run. Run before I change my mind." She hissed, her heart pounding. He's lucky she already fed or he would be a dead man.
He couldn't help but run but he didn't run too far just outside the alleyway, waiting for when she would eventually come out.
She let him go when he ran, hitting the brick wall in frustration, punching a hole into it. She took deep breaths to calm her down, her face finally going back to normal.
He peeped into the alleyway when he heard a loud sound and saw a huge hole in the concrete wall. He wasn't sure why he was about to go and do what he was going to do. He approached Amy again
Amy heard his footsteps as he approached her again, but didn't make any sudden movements. Her father shut up, so she no longer felt raged.
He walked closer to her "Hey" he said as he approached her
"I told you to leave." She said flatly, her voice normal.
"And I didn't listen" he said
"Why?" She snapped, glaring at him.
"Because I couldn't just leave you like that!" He told her
"Like what? I'm fine." She said sternly.
"Earlier, it was clear that you weren't" he said wondering why she was denying everything that happened earlier
"It's something i've dealt with plenty of times. Believe me." She said.
"How? I honestly was scared out of my mind"
"I'm not going to apologize for that." She said with a deep sigh, ignoring his question.
"I didn't ask you to, I just want to make sure your okay"
"I'm fine." She said, shrugging past him and out of the alley.
"And if I don't believe you" he asked as he followed her
"What?" She stopped and looked over her shoulder at him.
"I don't believe you" he said as he walked up to her "I don't think your fine"
"And why's that? I look fine." She said, straightening her posture and tilting her chin up.
"Well if my memory serves me right you told me that looks can be deceiving"
"Alright smartass, what do you think is wrong with me hm?" She glared at him.
"Ouch, princess. Well I think that something is obviously wrong and your keeping it bottled up inside"he said as he looked at her
"I keep it in to keep people like you, safe." She said, poking his chest.
"What does that mean? People like me?" He asked confused
"What? Can you explain, I don't know what you mean" he said
"Good." She said turning away and walking again.
He chased after her again "I think you have a habit of leaving me confused a lot"
"Why?" He asked her as walked behind her
"Because it's safer for you to stay away from me."
"That's what you don't get Amy, I don't want to stay away from you"
She stopped, but didn't turn around, causing him to walk into back but she didn't stumble. "Why?"
"Because I want to know more about you. I want to see what makes you happy, what makes you sad, and why you keep pushing me away"
She was silent for a few minutes. Was he serious? "But why? Why do you want to know all those things?"
