He sighed "At least your following her wish"
"It's hard though. I get punished by saying no to him." She frowned, running her fingers over the skin on wrist, the scars completely gone.
'Does he do that, or do you?" he asked her
"Technically I do. But he gets into my head and physically makes me."
'Oh" he said trying to understand the situation
"That's something you should know about me. My father is always around. In here." She said, tapping her temple with her finger.
"Can he like see through your eyes?" he asked her curiously
"Oh, because that would be weird"
"Tell me about it." She laughed. Then she reached down and pulled her nightshirt over her underwear, past her hips to expose a tattoo right above her hipbone that said, 'promises.' She gently ran her thumb over the black scripted print.
"Its beautiful." he said looking at it "Was that for your mother?" he asked her
She nodded and pillowed her head with her bent elbow. "Yeah."
"I was thinking of getting something like that, for my mother you know. But I just didn't know what to do"
"Hmm, was there ever something she told you? Like a quote or saying?"
He took a deep breath thinking it over
"Or..maybe just her name will be enough." She smiled.
"That sounds like a really good idea" he said smiling at her "Thank you"
"Alexandra. That's why my name is Alexander" he told her
Her smile grew bigger. "That's very sweet."
He smiled at her and started to daydream remembering all of the moments he had with her mother...good and bad
"Tell me about her." She whispered.
"She was one of the best women ever. She was strong and she didn't give up until the very last second. She told me that when she...died not to be depressed and enjoy my life. She always saw the good in someone, not the bad. I miss her so much" he said looking up at the ceiling trying not to cry
She took his face in her hands and ran her thumbs along his cheeks. "Shhh, it's okay." She soothed.
"I know" he said as he turned to her tears down his face
She wiped her tears away with her thumbs. "She loved you. Remember that."
"Thank you" he said smiling at her
"Let's go get tattoos." She said with a mischievous grin.
"You want another one?" he asked her
"Yeah. I'll have to think of a good one though. I'll have it on my skin for eternity." She laughed.
"That's true" he said smiling "Lets do it then"
"Great." She grinned and rolled off the bed.
He laughed and got off the bed looking for clothes
She grabbed a pair of skinny jeans and jumped into them, then turned her back to him as she took off her shirt, rolling her shoulders and exposing her bare back.
He went and got his clothes that he took off last night and put them back on
She clipped on a bra and pulled on a v neck shirt then a leather jacket over that.
"Ready?" he asked her
She nodded and pulled on boots. "Yes sir."
He smiled "You can lead the way"
She took his hand and lead him out of her loft, skipping down the steps.
He smiled walking down the stairs with her holding her hand
When she got to the bottom she kissed his cheek and strutted down the street.
He followed helplessly behind her
She stopped in front of a tattoo parlour. "You ready?"
"Ready as I'll ever be" he said as he opened the door
She laughed and stepped into the dark store.
He looked around looking at all the different types of tattoos
" I have no idea what I want to get."
"What is something that means a lot to you?" he asked her
