Lila - we even had to watch the movie after we read the book.
1) well I have 3 top favorites that I watch over and over again. The first is I Love Lucy. The second would be The George Burns& Gracie Allen show and the third T.V show would be Keeping Up Appearances.

That's my favorite, too. The Andy Griffith Show is my second favorite. I've watched those two shows repeatedly throughout my 54 years of life. My kids love those shows, too.
Northern WI .. renting a cabin on a lake for a week of water fun (and board games inside if it is rainy weather).
Ocean City, N.J. - my whole family ( Im the youngest of 4) and I we rent a house for a week and just spend time with eachother. By the end of the week, we have had enough of the beach and eachother's company ...haha!!

5) Mauritius (if I get my wish) - Hartenbosch (beach) is the realistic location though.5 favourite places to read
1. In my home library where I can close the door to block out TV noise, in my La-Z-Boy swivel rocking recliner that I've had 31 years, which I nursed my kids in, which I spent hours upon hours reading aloud in, which I’ve spent lots of time either reading or watching TV in nearly every day since I’ve had it, which child #2 claimed as his reading chair much of each day during his teen years, and which still has its original chenille fabric (which I wasn't crazy about, not knowing how durable chenille would be, but the chair was a floor model on sale for a great price, and we liked the style and color. I wish La-Z-Boy still made such high-quality furniture, but sadly, that's not the case). If I still had a front porch, it would be in the swing on my porch when the weather is nice. I can read for many hours at a time, but I need to move pretty much constantly, which is why I love rockers and swings.
5) winter times - snug in my bed. Summer anywhere in nature.Name 5 pet peeves when you are reading a very captivating book.
4) When I'm in the middle of a can't-put-down-part, and my son wakes up or husband wants to talk! (mmm - need to check my priorities).
Sarita wrote: "1. Dachau concentration camp (not sure if this qualifies as historical site...)"It does. Any site of historical significance does.
