Oops! 🤪 😆 I apologize.
1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
5. Huckleberry Finn. (Had to read it twice and still haven’t read it all the way through - 100% DNF for me).Favorite Mother’s Day present.
3. No cooking! My 5 year old wrote in her list of mom's favorite things, "pan" for "mom's favorite gift". When asked about it, she explained that since I am always cooking, she thought I would like a pan. Hahaha.
Caroline, that's hilarious! I also enjoy not having to cook. 4. Flowers are always special to me, too
1. White Houses - I didn't need to know that much detail about Eleanore Roosevelt and Lorena Hickock's "affair".I could also mention all the ones I had to read in high school that I thumbed through the interesting parts, but didn't totally read (Huckelberry Finn, A Tale of Two Cities, Macbeth, and more) -- paid close enough attention to the discussions to make A's though. 😀
Library, I hated Wuthering Heights, too, even though I love Jane Eyre and all of Jane Austen's works.Sarita, I also had to read Lord of the Flies for college, and I absolutely hated it. I was surprised my conservative Christian college required me to read that.
5. Siddartha. I had to read it in high school and hated it! It didn't really have a point.
