MimiFleur | 1 comments Well, here goes. I’ve been searching like a madwoman for these particular series of books I’ve found in my class library when I was a youngster. Of course I don’t remember any of the names nor the author. There were about 3 that I knew of and I’m not sure if there were any more in that series. Anyway, all the books were yellow and featured strange things on the covers—one thing I remember vividly is a dead robin on one of them. I think there was also an old diver suit on another. There were various stories with pictures that were related to them. One book featured the story of an orange man that was a medical mystery to his doctors until they discovered it had to do with what his wife was putting in his lunch box. And another story I vaguely remember was about this alien with many legs that became loose in a city and eventually ended up being surrounded by the police, helicopters, etc. the very last thing I remember about the books is that one had a section especially for strange words like “gobbledygook” and their meanings. Yeah, from what I remember, these books were all over the place when it came to their content. If anyone can put an end to my frantic spurts of Google searching for these books, you’ll have my undying gratitude. Thank you!

Mai | 1280 comments Hi! When were you "a youngster"? And what do you consider a youngster? (approximate grade, just to know if it's an elementary school reader, a middle school book or a juvenile novel)
