Vashti Hell to the No!!! I would tell that little freak if he hits me, I'm going to hit his a*s back! in a way he wont be getting off on! I mean excuse me but "U want to hit me... with a leather strap U say...while I'm tied up an can't defend myself, but with safe word..., all for your pleasure..." Noooo buddy, I've watched Roots and not one time did I say "Gee, I wish somebody would beat the crap out of me like that", all for someone else's pleasure of course!! yeah right

Saving People, Hunting Things~ The Family Business No, I prefer relationships where there is no imbalance of power.

message 4: by Iris (new) - rated it 1 star

Iris I would say yes, not because I think Christian Grey is hot or because I like the book in any way, but because I find BDSM fascinating. I would give it a try. (Also he seems easy to control and I am not scared of him)

Sparrowlicious No. Even if I wasn't asexual: Wow, no.
What Christian Grey does isn't BDSM - it's neither safe, nor sane. A real person who behaves like this would've served some time in jail already, to be honest.

message 6: by Iris (new) - rated it 1 star

Iris Lol, noted. He is a little crazy isn't he?

Ashley Ford Thats giving toooo much trust to an obviously unstable guy, hot or not.No thank you.

message 8: by Mrsbooks (new) - added it

Mrsbooks Its been a while since I read this, but Grey doesn't force her to do anything, does he? He only does what she ultimately allows him to do...even when she's uncomfortable or unsure.

That's my recollection anyway. So I'm not entirely sure why people think he's so terrible. Besides being an ass anyways.

But my answer would still be no.

Michelle °O° NO WAY!!!
Could you just imagine going on a first date and someone giving you that contract. I would have been out of there so fast LOL

Mrsbooks wrote: "Its been a while since I read this, but Grey doesn't force her to do anything, does he? He only does what she ultimately allows him to do...even when she's uncomfortable or unsure.
..."

No he doesn't do anything against her will. Because she even had limits what she would do.

Bethanie I think i would definitely give it a try....BDSM really interests me and I think I would eventually regret not trying if I was to say No.... Ofcourse I would want the relationship he had with Ana to go along with the whole "Play Room"...not just what he had with the other subs

Radha Muthu yes will try it. life is short and we should try to utilize it to the max - enjoy it

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

I wouldn't. If -if- I'd do something like that, it would be with someone I trust completely. I'm not sure I would trust Christian. And I'd need someone to be there for me afterwards, not someone who walks away to work or something and is unreachable for a long period of time.

Laura Yes....Why not ? ;) just to try...

message 14: by Ken (new) - rated it 2 stars

Ken Mandap No. That's so stupid, and being hit to the ass hurts like hell. So nope; a big NO, NO, NO.

message 15: by Sinon (new)

Sinon I think my nature to challenge peoples personalities... yeah..

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

message 17: by CJ (new)

CJ Nope. Even without taking the BDSM into consideration, the guy sends up way too many red flags, and he just isn't really my type. Taking the BDSM into consideration, I restate the nope, but with even more conviction. BDSM includes a lot of different things*, and while I do have an interest in some of them, that interest does not extend to the dynamic Christian is going for.

*Since someone already brought it up, you could argue that in practice what they're doing wouldn't be considered BDSM, but if we're mainly talking about the contract I think that that is.

Book Dragon NO THANK YOU!!! no matter how hot the guy is.N O

message 19: by Dipe (new) - rated it 5 stars

Dipe NO........

('nuff said)

Monnom no

Trina Hell NO!!!
Personally I thought that Christian Grey had issues which Counselling would never fix, I thought it was sick that he was choosing women who looked like his mum to beat (not hit) as you are beating someone if using instruments.
I think I would have wrapped that belt round his neck and pulled hard to make it clear that its not acceptable and run away FAST!
I've been a victim of domestic violence and quite a few things that Christian does and says made me cringe, the control levels made me so uncomfortable that I had to stop reading and leave it a few days b4 picking up the book again.
I've no interest in BDSM but if that's what it's really like then I wouldn't choose that kind of relationship anyway.
As for the books I thought the Author was very repetitive, if she had taken half of the sex scenes out and reduced the books to just 1 that would have been a 5 star book as it was full of action and suspense!

Ellen NO WAY!!!If he dared to hit me I would hit the crap out of him!!!I have read the first 2 books and obviously the second is better...except a couple of scenes like the one in the sailing and the other on the ball...I don't like them...And I am glad he changed...I'm waiting for the third book...

Mayko No. I have trust issues :)

Mattie Fuck no!I hate BDSM.I would beat the crap out of him too.I don't think he's hot either.Gray eyes aren't for me.

Arleen A. No. It's just not for me.

Candy I would be happy to submit to the character...not the actor. He sux.

Charlene A guy with serious mentality issues, and lousy at BDSM to begin with? No thanks.

message 28: by Mel (new) - rated it 5 stars

Mel One part of my brain is screaming hell yes :) But the logical part of my brain is saying no run for the hills!!

Tamara Philip I love everyone who posted hell no here!! we can all be friends!! Christian had too many problems. Even if he was hot and rich as hell. There is no way their relationship is going to last without major problems. the man is controlling as all hell and Ana is a damned idiot. and it truly scares me that so many women didn't see any of this as a problem.
This gives men (who don't know any better) mixed signals as if we all want pyscho stalkers just because the sex is good!

to All the women who do, god bless but no thankyou.

Laura Hell Yes! Give anything a go once. It's good to broaden your horizons. ;-)

Spela buzdon If I were single... why not :)

Read me two times well, Christian Grey himself probably would get a NO from me, he's too much of the jerk type. BUT, if I'd really trust a person with all my mind, why not? I think I'm kinda curious about BDSM. only if I trust the other one that much.

Paulina Filarca I think I probably would. I'm that weak when it comes to guys like him. You know, the intense and over flowing with sex appeal. Although I'd probably hide from him right after he starts with the "hard limits."

Natacha No, i will do everything like Ana, so he can fell in love with me, like he did...<3

Rochelly Nope.

message 36: by Sandravides (last edited Sep 17, 2014 05:46PM) (new) - rated it 4 stars

Sandravides Yes, with mine eyes close no doubt ... It's mostly the Control that personal would have over mine body Christian Grey......

Gabriela I would say no, bc clearly he doesnt even understand what is a S/M relationship.
Second he has issues for doing it, he doesnt understand it or like it.
Third, I am too mature for Christian Grey since obviously he tends to prefer the body of a woman with the brain of a 14 year old.
Now if Grey from the Secretary asked me, that would be another thing, and I would lift my skirts for my master just like the secretary did.

Leanne Hell no. The fact that so many fans of the book claim that he's the perfect man and that they wish he was real absolutely boggles my mind. No way in hell would I let him get away with all that emotional manipulation, condescending and controlling behavior, temper tantrums when I don't "behave", and creepy stalking. Even though he's in therapy the guy's obviously not even trying to make himself into a better person and apparently doesn't even understand just how wrong his behavior is. Plus, there's his whole fucked up unhealthy attitude he has about his own kinks, so there's no way I'd even want a guy like him as a Dom and nothing else. Besides, I already have a happy and healthy kinky relationship with my own wonderful boyfriend. ;)

LeeAnne Oh HELL NO!

Aletheia I can't handle that kind of relationship. So I'd say no.

message 41: by Shai (new) - rated it 5 stars

Shai Manx No thanks. :D

message 42: by Iin (new) - rated it 5 stars

Iin HMN gosh absolutely no! been taking care my self for what? for him to beat me, to pleasure him? hell no!

Erika With out a doubt! Why not try? If I was a single woman in my 20's, I'd be all for it. How would I know if I liked it or not unless I tried. Remember, I control the hard limits. I wouldn't choose it for my 1st sexual experience but I don't think there's anything wrong with kink

Saleen Maybe

BonnieSkywalker Yes, I would be his ssssslut.

BonnieSkywalker Gabriela wrote: "I would say no, bc clearly he doesnt even understand what is a S/M relationship.

Bonia NO.

Jennie so fast it would make your head spiin

Yna from Books and Boybands I would definitely say No. :)
