If Christian Grey asked you to be his submissive, would you do it?

What Christian Grey does isn't BDSM - it's neither safe, nor sane. A real person who behaves like this would've served some time in jail already, to be honest.

That's my recollection anyway. So I'm not entirely sure why people think he's so terrible. Besides being an ass anyways.
But my answer would still be no.

Could you just imagine going on a first date and someone giving you that contract. I would have been out of there so fast LOL

No he doesn't do anything against her will. Because she even had limits what she would do.

I wouldn't. If -if- I'd do something like that, it would be with someone I trust completely. I'm not sure I would trust Christian. And I'd need someone to be there for me afterwards, not someone who walks away to work or something and is unreachable for a long period of time.

Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Since someone already brought it up, you could argue that in practice what they're doing wouldn't be considered BDSM, but if we're mainly talking about the contract I think that that is.

Personally I thought that Christian Grey had issues which Counselling would never fix, I thought it was sick that he was choosing women who looked like his mum to beat (not hit) as you are beating someone if using instruments.
I think I would have wrapped that belt round his neck and pulled hard to make it clear that its not acceptable and run away FAST!
I've been a victim of domestic violence and quite a few things that Christian does and says made me cringe, the control levels made me so uncomfortable that I had to stop reading and leave it a few days b4 picking up the book again.
I've no interest in BDSM but if that's what it's really like then I wouldn't choose that kind of relationship anyway.
As for the books I thought the Author was very repetitive, if she had taken half of the sex scenes out and reduced the books to just 1 that would have been a 5 star book as it was full of action and suspense!

This gives men (who don't know any better) mixed signals as if we all want pyscho stalkers just because the sex is good!
to All the women who do, god bless but no thankyou.

Second he has issues for doing it, he doesnt understand it or like it.
Third, I am too mature for Christian Grey since obviously he tends to prefer the body of a woman with the brain of a 14 year old.
Now if Grey from the Secretary asked me, that would be another thing, and I would lift my skirts for my master just like the secretary did.

I agree though, Mr. Grey in Secretary is a real deal Master/Dominant. Christian Grey talks too much for a dom. lol.
