1. September is back to school month. Read a book with a main character who is a teacher/professor OR a main character who is starting school in the book (h.s. or college) OR read a book with a school scene on the cover

2. September zodiac signs are Virgo and Libra. We will focus on Libra this month. Libra is the 7th sign in the zodiac and represented by scales. People born under the Libra sign are said to be Diplomatic, Graceful, Peaceful, Idealistic, Hospitable, Superficial, Vain, Indecisive, Unreliable
Read a book that is seventh in a series OR a book with scales on the cover OR with a character who displays at least two of Libra's personality characteristics. If choosing the characteristics please be sure to tell us which ones your character displays.

3. September is one of four months with 30 days. Read a book with the number four in the title OR read a book with Four or Fourth in the title OR read a book with a 4 in the total number of pages

4. September is National Piano Month. Read a book with a piano on the cover OR read a book where music is important to the plot OR read a book where the main character is a musician.

5. September is also Baby Safety Month. Read a book with a baby on the cover OR read a book where a baby plays an important part in the plot.

6. September 2nd is National Beheading Day. Read a book set during the French Revolution (1789-1799) OR read a book with just a person's head on the cover Or read a book whose character is name Marie.

7. September 6th is Fight Procrastination Day. Finally read that book that you've been avoiding for some reason.

8. September 13 is Uncle Sam Day. Read a book with a main character who is in any branch of the military Or read a book with an old man on the cover OR read a book set in 1813 (year uncle sam image was 1st used) or a year close to 1813.

9. September 17 is Constitution Day. Read a book set in the late 1700's OR read a book with some kind of document on the cover OR read a book where politics are important to the plot OR where the Main Character is a politician.

10. September 20th (this year) is Oktoberfest. Read a book where a huge party is thrown OR read a book set in Germany OR read a book where the Main Character or Author is German OR read a book with an alcoholic drink on the cover
