He relocated to Russia and was not aware of what would happen when he started to expose wrongs done by individuals, corporations and the government.

He talks about the history and culture of the country that led to his firm and the lawyers that represented him being threatened. Browder tells about the judicial system, jails and wrongful arrests. He began to use the media to share with the public what he has learned, and he angered many powerful people along the way.

Browden writing keeps his audience very interested. As he is dealing with how to handle this complicated situation his focus is forced to change. He wants to do what he can for people he feels were wrongfully hurt.
