I really felt for him and the loss of his family. He was a good guy and his depression warped his brain. Was he salvageable? Maybe. I think he just didn't want to live without his family and taking out the HRT, and fully expecting to die, was his way of ending his pain.
I also think he could have been helped. He wasn't trying to kill any innocents, just the team he felt was responsible for his family's death. I also think he didn't want to live without his family.
I agree he could have been helped. Ken lost his way but not his humanity. I also agree that a large part of him wanted to join his wife and child. But if he had lived, I think he could have been helped.
