‘The Longbourn letters’ by Rose Servitova is a book that I really enjoyed. It’s a series of letters, through the years, between Mr Bennet and Mr Collins. If you choose to read it,I hope it does the trick!!!
How about Chaos Comes to Longbourn: A Pride and Prejudice Variation by Victoria Kincaid? It's more of a farce than anything AND told from no less than eight POVs! It's a good romp.
Then there's Mr. Darcy's Bad Day: A Pride & Prejudice Novella by Christie Capps. If you enjoyed Mr. Darcy Came to Dinner, then you'll enjoy this, though it's novella length rather than a full length novel.
Do you read modern-day Austenesques at all? I recall Longbourn Library: A Novel of Pride, Prejudice, and Books by Trudy Wallace as being lighthearted and charming.
Oh, here’s another, this time a period story—based on one of JA’s youthful tales: Edgar and Emma: A Novel After Jane Austen by Robert Rodi.
Thank you so much everyone! I'm going to start with Mary's "Longbourn Letters" and work my way through everyone's suggestions!Abigail, I have read "Longbourn Library" before, and I have to say, it's probably the highest rated modern adaptation I've ever read!
Please keep them coming everyone! Maybe this will be my JAFF theme this year!
Good--it sounds as if I'm on the right track about what you're looking for. Will keep thinking about it.

I loved those Debbie. Here is one that will knock you off your socks. It is cray-cray-crazy. Pairings (a one shot in four short chapters): JoanHall:

Oh myy! I've just read this one to try and help take my mind off worrying about hubby in hospital.
Oh, Anji, bless your heart. I know you are worried and I hope this gave you a minute to giggle so you could then handle the heavier things that RL [real life] is throwing your way. Blessings my dear.
You might enjoy Discovering Mr. Darcy: A Pride and Prejudice Novella or The Houseguest: A Pride and Prejudice Vagary. Hope you find many fun books and stories to enjoy here.Anji, hope everything is ok with your husband. It's always hard to have loved ones in the hospital and helpful to be able to use good stories to distract from worrying and raise our spirits.

I'm finding I'm in a bit of a rut! I'm re-reading
I have recently read
I'm just looking for something sweet and funny or amusing. No murdered Lydia, no somber former monks, Japanese thieves, no -falling-down-the-stairs-and-misscarrying type stories.
Thanks everyone!
