Eventhough I really like Will I love Jem. I think Will is the typical bad-guy-the-nice-girl-falls-for character, which is not a bad thing but it's common in YA literature. Jem on the other hand was always a good guy who cared about Tessa and that made him so special. He never had an easy life and he knows that he will die young but that didn't make him bitter or angry at life, but it made him an even greater person. Either that's the reason I love Jem or it's the facts that he's blond (or silver-haired, all the same to me) and the underdog :D
