Bethanie Kong | 8 comments ^ Notice in my question how I recognize God as a "charater" (as in the people of a story), and not "the character OF God".

Emilee Vang | 16 comments Celie see's God as a human being who she can talk to whereas to other people God a lifeless person who is worship. To Celie God is her friend and someone who she can rely on for courage and hope. I feel that he is a "character" that listens to her true feelings and thoughts.

Yeng Yang | 14 comments I think God finally responds to Celie when she found her sister's letters. God responded to her by giving her the life she later have in the book, or at the end. She earned that life and she probably did not respect God towards the end, but if God were to really help her make her fate, God is to be thankful for. In general, God has taught Celie the key to happiness.

Michelle Lee | 17 comments God is a living person that Celie see and talk to everyday. When you read Celie letters, he is her best friend that she trust and let everything out inside of her heart.
