This is a long shot... Princess, grew up in a castle. Very daring. I think solved a murder of a man. She noticed there was no blood around a dagger that killed him, figured out he was dead already. I think she also went to the theatre at one point and an actor was killed onstage. There are many descriptions of the clothes she wore. It's very likely a series.... I read it around 6 years ago- 2013.
